Eligibility Criteria

  • NYS Cosmetology License or Enrolled in a Accredited Cosmetology Program 
  • Be eligible to work in The United States
  • Have an up to date resume

No, Meraki is not departmentalized. Every member of our style team is highly skilled in all areas of cosmetology. Through extensive, year-round training, our team members are well-versed in multiple techniques, ensuring they can deliver the highest level of service and an exceptional experience to our guests.
For New Talent Stylists, inclusion in the Meraki Advanced Academy begins after meeting specific eligibility criteria. The program typically takes 9-12 months to complete, depending on the individual's dedication, hours devoted, and skill level.
You’ll have the opportunity to work in Staten Island’s hottest new salon, training alongside top industry professionals. Upon graduation, Meraki will provide you with new guests, driven by our strong name recognition, marketing efforts, social media presence, and community outreach, setting you up for sustained growth and success.
New talent stylists and assistants are compensated hourly and have the opportunity to earn gratuities. Once elebated to a Floor Stylist, compensation transitions to a commission-based structure, providing a clear path for financial growth.
Yes, we offer flexible part-time schedules for assistants currently attending school, allowing you to balance your education and work experience.
Yes, we welcome interns who are still in school and exploring potential career paths in the beauty industry.
